The Union of Wood Businessmen of Córdoba, was born in March of 1991, as a result of the interest created in a group of entrepreneurs of the Sector in the province of Córdoba for constituting a business association that really defended the interests of the sector. and achieve the social and economic promotion of member companies.
From this philosophy, UNEMAC emerged, constituting itself under the protection of R.D.L. of Freedom of Association of the year 77, and being recognized by all the Public and Private Organizations as the only valid interlocutors of the sector of the Province of Córdoba. UNEMAC, is a member of the Confederation of Employers of Cordoba (CECO), the Confederation of Andalusian Businessmen of the Wood (CEAM), the Confederation of Employers of Andalusia (CEA), of the Spanish Confederation of Business Organizations (CEOE-CEPYME ) and the National Confederation of Wood (CONEMAC).
Likewise, since its inception, it supported and collaborated in the creation of the CEMER Royal Wood School Consortium of Wood, being currently members of its Governing Council.
